THE POSITION
The Community Services Agency Director is appointed by the Chief Executive Officer with concurrence from the the the Board of Supervisors The Director reports to to the the the Assistant Executive Officer and is is is responsible for the the the overall operation of of the the the Agency which includes administering directing and coordinating the the the activities of of the the the Agency The Director is expected to to carry out the the objectives of the the Board in in providing for a a a a healthy community and establishing effective partnerships This position heads a a a a a a a program of public social services which includes community services as as as well as as as the the the applicable Federal and State public assistance provisions which further the the the general welfare of the County
