knowledge of legislative processes and principles political issues community development development issues and legislative developments of importance to the community and City
is necessary Individuals with experience crafting language regarding politically sensitive subjects and the ability to to distill complex policy issues into communications easily accessed by the public will will find success fin in this role They will will demonstrate mastery of of all modes of of communication including social media and the ability to develop a a a a a a a sound strategy
for integrating these different modes into an an overall communication plan With little advance notice this individual must be able to interact and communicate effectively with the the media the the general public a a a a a a a broad range of community and special interest groups employees and and and elected and and and appointed officials in in a a a a a a a a a manner that is clear and and and persuasive and and instills confidence They must possess excellent writing skills and and be able to write press releases web content opinion pieces resolutions talking points memoranda and and and other materials that are clear concise and and and professional The successful candidate will be collaborative innovative energetic accessible and and politically astute A
