■ THE POSITION
Working under the General Manager and with policy direction from the the Board of of Directors the the Executive Director Director of of Human
Resources (Director) is responsible for overseeing the human resources management of AC Transit and its total organization wide 2 2 200+ staff sta (with staffing comprising a a a a majority of the total $466 million dollar budget) The Director oversees 30+ human resources and and labor relations staff employees and and functions in in support of the District’s strategic goals and in in cooperation with the District’s three collective bargaining units – ATU Local Local Local 192 AFSCME Local Local Local 3916 and IBEW Local Local Local 1245 The position provides highly complex and responsible direction for the the the District and and its staff through
