Under administrative direction of of of the the the the City Manager the the the the Director of of of Human Human Resources Resources plans manages oversees and and and and directs the the the the operations and and and and services of of of the the the the Human Human Resources Resources Department including recruitment selection employee and and and and and labor relations classification compensation training performance management and and and and and Workers’ Compensation coordinates activities with with other City officials departments outside agencies and and and and organizations will partner with with the the the new Police Chief as as he he he he builds a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a team culture and and and and and prepares to initiate operations oversees and and and and maintains records and and and and personnel personnel files serves as as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a technical resource for for the the the the City City City Council City City City Manager and and and and other other City personnel personnel performs other other related duties as as required Currently one one bargaining unit unit is represented by by the Lathrop Mid-Managers and and Confidential Employee Association and and and one one unit unit unit by by SEIU Local 1021 both have have MOUs expiring June 2022 The The Department consists of of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a staff of of of three - Director Director Director HR HR Manager and and Management Analyst Analyst The The The new new Director Director Director will will have have the the opportunity to to to to to hire the the next HR HR Analyst Analyst into this newly created position The The Director Director Director will will oversee a a a a a a a a a a a budget of of $2 020 662
