The Director Director of Finance reports to to to the Executive Director Director and oversees a a a a department of 11 team members RTC collects nearly $188 million in revenue from a a a variety of of different sources Some of of the largest revenue streams come from the motor vehicle fuel tax ($85M) public transportation sales tax ($33M) and Federal grants ($46M) You will be be a a a a a critical link between the Executive staff operational departments and and state local and and federal funding partners In this role the Director of Finance:
» Provides leadership develops implements and and directs all finance accounting risk management and procurement programs and operations monitoring the results to to ensure that strategic and and tactical goals and and outcomes are achieved » Establishes and and manages accounting controls to ensure efficient operations and sound fiscal practices meets RTC objectives through effective planning staff management and resource allocation » Monitors legislative developments related to to finance accounting and procurement matters evaluates impact on on RTC operations oversight of long-range financial planning and forecasting functions To learn more go to: www rtcwashoe com or or or watch the 2020 Annual Report 23
