Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in in in Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Criminology Public Administration or a a a a a related field and five (5) years upper level
command experience is expected A Master’s degree and and graduation from a a a a a a national police command school is desirable Candidates who possess previous experience with a a a a a a smaller department/city and in in in emergency management including familiarity with NIMS and and critical incident management at a a a a a a a a a command level
preferred Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered In addition candidates must be Colorado certified or or POST certifiable Police Officer
