An equivalent combination of related education training and experience may be considered Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in in in in Public Administration Administration Business Administration Administration Human Resources Organizational
Development or or related field or or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience:
» Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in in in in in in in in in in in in in in performing full-cycle recruitment including assessing vacancies and and business needs with hiring hiring managers planning or creating hiring hiring plans advertising sourcing and conducting a a a a a a a a search assisting with the candidate screening and and and selection processes and and and preparing job offers » » Minimum of of of One year or or more of of of professional related experience in in Human Resources » » Public Sector recruitment experience experience in state county or or local government experience experience is preferred Licenses/Certifications:
Must possess a a a a a a a a a a valid state Driver’s Driver’s License License with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada State Driver’s Driver’s License License within required time frame Strongly Preferred Certifications:
Professional Professional certification as a a a a a a a a Professional Professional in Human Resources with a a a a a a a a credible college or or professional association such as as SHRM SHRM SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) and/or IPMA-HR Certified Professional etc ■ The Department
The City’s Human Resources Department
with a a a a a a total of 21 allocated positions is responsible for providing professional human resources services to the following 13 unique Departments: City Clerk Community Development & Compliance Finance Fire Government Affairs Human Resources Neighborhood and Leisure Services Police Public Works Utilities Communications and and Marketing Economic and and Business Development and the North Las Vegas Library District
