Cal OES employees are members of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) Plan. CalPERS offers a defined benefit retirement plan. It provides benefits based on members years of service, age, and final compensation. In addition, benefits are provided for disability death, and payments to survivors or beneficiaries of eligible members.
In addition, the Savings Plus Program provides further opportunities to save for retirement with 401(k) and 457 Plans.
The salary range for the Information Technology Specialist II is $7,365 – $9,869/monthly. The salary range for the Information Technology Specialist III is $8,119 – $10,880/monthly.
