■ EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Under the the the direction and and supervision of the the the TJPA Board the the the Executive Director effectively and and responsibly supervises directs and and administers the the business of TJPA TJPA Subject to the the TJPA TJPA By-laws resolutions regulations policies and and procedures and in accordance with applicable law the Executive Director:
1 Organizes and and supervises the the TJPA administrative professional and and technical staff in in in a a a a a a a a a a manner which in in in the the Executive Director’s best best judgment best best serves TJPA 2 Hires terminates assigns assigns selects and reassigns personnel 3 Selects supervises and and and manages contractors and and and contracts of TJPA TJPA subject to to applicable TJPA TJPA rules and and and policies 4 Develops and and and recommends and and and upon TJPA TJPA Board approval implements the policies goals and and and objectives of TJPA TJPA 5 Develops and and and implements the capital maintenance and and and operational programs and and and projects of TJPA 6 Administers the the budget of TJPA TJPA as approved by the the TJPA TJPA Board Education Experience & Training
» Bachelor’s degree degree in in in in in in in in in in in in transportation planning planning urban or or or or regional planning planning engineering public administration administration or or or or business administration master’s degree in in in in one of these disciplines is is is preferred » Minimum of of of of of ten years’ of of of of of progressively responsible management experience including a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a minimum of of of of of four years years at at at at the the executive level preferably in local government or or or other organizational structure of similar or or or relative size scope and complexity » Equivalent combination combination of of of of education education and and and work experience experience may be be considered The Board of of of of Directors reserves the the right to select any combination of of education experience licensing and certification that best serves the needs of of TJPA
