The Executive Assistant is is the advanced journey level classification in in which incumbents are expected to work independently and perform the full range of highly responsible and and complex administrative and and executive support support level responsibilities in in support support of the Police Chief An incumbent in in this position will be be expected to demonstrate a a higher degree of of independent judgement and a a a thorough knowledge of of department and and and Citywide procedures and and and policies and and and the ability to choose among a a a a a a number of alternatives in in in performing a a a a a variety of complex assignments without instruction or or assistance
