Under the the the general policy direction of the the the Prison Industry Board the the the General Manager
(GM) oversees more than 100 industrial agricultural and service cost centers located in in 34 institutions throughout California and nine administrative functions The GM provides the leadership and policy oversight to the the organization through the the ongoing development of CALPIA’s CALPIA’s vision and and long-term strategic plan plan The GM plans and and defines CALPIA’s CALPIA’s corporate culture and and provides people and and team leadership in the achievement of CALPIA’s strategic plan The GM ensures that CALPIA operates both as a a a a a a growing profitable business enterprise and as a a a a a a a a a social program that benefits the the people of of the the State of of California A key role for the the the GM is ensure the the the businesses and training opportunities provided decrease the the the recidivism rate rate of of formerly incarcerated individuals in in in the State of of California’s correctional system by preparing workers with job skills and training in in in in the various enterprises operated by CALPIA ■ Salary and Benefits

is $172 068 - $191 688 annually dependent
