Scathed

Derrick got badly scathed,

Cut by the blade of a lathe.

So, in iodine his finger had to be bathed.

Then, of course, in a bandage swathed

Then later un-swathed

But unhealed, re-swathed

Then, finally fully healed, once more un-swathed

The Brave

Little Hawk was an Indian brave who did not like the way the
White Man did behave. So, with tomahawk he gave wave after

wave of settler a close shave. Save for their scalps, he buried

them in a mass grave within a mountain cave.

Now this gave White Man, his reason to rave!
