        Story 334

                                                 Little Farmer Hugh

The Carews lived with their little nephew, Hugh. On their farm they had a ram,

a ewe, and some other animals too.

Every morning the married two and Hugh would arise early feeling fresh and

new as morning dew. Mr. Carew had a slew of odd jobs to do – such as, giving his

horse a new shoe, or hunting duck that overhead flew. Mrs. Carew had a lot to do

too – such as, cooking bar•be•cue, or their favorite, duck stew. Hugh, he mostly

had homework to do and lessons to review.

In church they prayed together at the same pew. And as their love for one

another grew. God, in turn, blessed the pros•per•ous two and nephew, Hugh.

Is it not true that the sky is blue? that rainbows have a multi-colored hue? that

paste is no better than glue? that a hint is similar to a clue? that a ewe makes

for tasty ragout? and that one may sue for money he believes his due?
