On Cape Cod

Mrs. Todd, who lives on Cape Cod, fishes daily for

scrod. On her sod, she grows green peas and sells them

in the pod.

Being ever so grateful for little things, every Sunday

she’ll trod to church, bow her head, and thank, her God.

Story 211

Rodge

Rodge ate so much fattening stodge

That he grew a huge podge

And couldn’t get through the door of his lodge

Nor onto the front seat of his Dodge

So, he took a job as a farm hodge

Hoping for his fat to dislodge!
