Debutante Anise Sinclair Crump

Miss Anise Sinclair Crump, daughter of Stephanie Green Crump and Andre Kevin Crump, is presented
by her father. She is a junior, at San Francisco University High School, where she was a student council
representative, a member of the Families' Multicultural group, the Yearbook staff, and other student
organizations. Anise is a member of St. Ignatius Church and the San Francisco Chapter of Jack and Jill
of America, Inc. She was recently a summer counselor for the Breakthrough program, helping minority
youth prepare for the future. Anise has played competitive volleyball for University High School, as well
as in various volleyball leagues. Anise loves photography, fashion, horseback riding, reading fiction, and
following science. Anise completed a 2-week internship in the Department of Anesthesiology of a major
San Francisco hospital, where she observed in person a variety of major surgeries ranging from dental and
cardiac to respiratory and gender reassignment procedures. Anise and her twin sister published their first
book at 8 years of age, "This Summer I Want to Rule the World." Anise has enjoyed traveling to various
countries, including France and St. Martin where she placed her French language skills to use and recently
to Ecuador to visit her grandmother. Upon graduation, Anise plans to attend college but has not selected
which one.
