11. Pollution Management
11.1 Flies Contamination
Physical control is done by keeping the litter materials and droppings dry and
odorless. Droppings wet by water are quickly removed and the area smeared with
lime. Fly bait like Snip is scattered around the exterior of the houses to kill adult
flies while RESIGEN is sprayed on to the droppings once in three days to control
maggots.
