Client Objectives
Our Netherlands based client was growing its’ South American operations and needed to find a Spanish speaking Senior Buyer for their team. They’d been working with 2 other recruiters
for 6 months without success.
Our Strategy
We met with the HR and Management stakeholders in the business to gain a complete understanding of their culture and the role profile. Following the meetings, we compiled a detailed Needs Analysis Document which was agreed with by our client. There was a high degree of urgency to fill the role as they had been looking for awhile and our client had specific requirements for
the position. We knew that we had to move swiftly. To this end, we made sure that our sourcing strategy centred on headhunting and networking alongside comprehensive online advertising.
We dedicated a team of 3 to the project with
the initial stage being research which focused on conducting competitor analysis and building market maps. From this activity, we built up a long list of circa 50 suitable candidates who were identified as having suitable experience and skill sets. During this process, our client was kept up to date with regular Progress Reports.
The long-listed candidates were contacted and phone interviewed to assess suitability for the role and their motivations and attitudes. This approach meant that we could deliver a shortlist of candidates that closely matched the requirements to our client, along with another Progress Report.
