   Case Studies 2.
Objectives
Our client is a financial services provider. They approached us as they were looking for External Audit Managers. They were also looking for a recruitment partner to support them in working on multiple roles within their Finance & IT teams. They had used other agencies before, but had found that their point of contacts were constantly changing and this affected the level of service they received.
Strategy
We had a series of meetings to gain understanding of their needs and employer brand. We agreed the process and put into place a Service Level Agreement. This helped to set the expectation for both parties. Our strategy was an executive search campaign, focused on networking and referrals.
Challenges
They were very specific about their requirements from the candidate they needed. They wanted Chinese speaking professionals as well as experience of working with the Big 5. However they were unable to pay as much as the Big 5 firms. This presented difficulties in persuading candidates to consider the roles on offer.
Solutions
We therefore extended our search to wider areas of the APAC region. By sourcing key candidates from Malaysia we were in a better position to fit in with the budget requirements.
Results
We shortlisted 9 candidates which resulted in 3 interviews and consequently 2 offers. The role had been open for more than 3 months before we placed 2 candidates out of the 3 interviews we scheduled. This was the first role we had worked on for our client.
