Welcome Message
Welcome to the 2019 CSCS Supplier Partner Summit! We
appreciate your participation and taking the time to explore how
our partnership will make CSCS’s Member businesses successful
in the years to come. Achieving supply chain excellence is the
result of integration and coordination - not just in tools and
systems, but also in the hearts and minds of people. We’re glad
you are here!
CONFIDENTIALITY
Vigorous, honest, and fair competition is the cornerstone of our free enterprise system. History has shown that societies
which promote vigorous competition among private firms have lower prices, better products and services, and greater
consumer choice. The antitrust laws preserve and promote competition. Accordingly, CSCS is committed to supporting
and complying with the antitrust laws of the United States. Compliance means not only abiding by the law in all respects,
but also honoring its spirit and goals. No supplier or distributor of CSCS shall act in a manner that is inconsistent with
applicable antitrust laws.
Communications among competitors in which information is shared with respect to current or future prices; costs of
production, labor or sales; and other financial statistics can facilitate standardization of prices (even absent an express
agreement fixing prices), which is precisely what the antitrust laws seek to prevent. Attendees must refrain from sharing
such information with competitors or otherwise disseminating information that might lead to cooperation among
competitors at the supplier or distributor levels of the supply chain.
