From the impression in the specific characteristic of handwoven fabric in each community, such as texture, color, pattern or weaving method, Mathew and Ayuri aimed to transfer the beauty of handwoven fabric of each community to the eyes of the world. Additionally, the story relating Lanna culture is also communicated as the products having joyousness and contemporary. It expresses the potentiality of local craftsmen and sustainably generates income for communities. Mathew and Ayuri combined the digital production with the handicraft, creating two products full of convenience, colorfulness and joyousness to respond new generation people’s demands as follows:
1. Sai : a multi-colored chair with structure designed as ‘H’ letter can be comfortably disassembled and assembled by the user by four pieces of wood which is convenient for transportation. Its cushion is removable and can be mixed and matched with other chairs. The elastic cords are also sued to bind the cushion and chair frame, facilitating for sitting and creating more joyousness. It is suitable for the target group of teenagers and business focusing on the people gathering for joyousness. Also, all parts of its structure can be adjusted and moved. Thai craftsmen can assemble chair as they like to
2. Sawang : Thai style wall lantern wrapped of cotton fabrics focuses on the convenience by using only one screw and can directly plug with power outlet in the house.
