(3) REPORT.—Not later than 18 months after the date on which funds are made available to carry out this section, the Secretaries shall submit to the Committee on Energy and Nat- ural Resources of the Senate and the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives a report that describes—
(A) the results of the study; and
(B) any recommendations of the Secretaries.
(4) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—There are author- ized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry
out this section.
SEC. 7202. TULE LAKE SEGREGATION CENTER, CALIFORNIA.
(a) STUDY.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of the Interior (referred
to in this section as the ‘‘Secretary’’) shall conduct a special resource study of the Tule Lake Segregation Center to deter- mine the national significance of the site and the suitability and feasibility of including the site in the National Park System.
(2) STUDY GUIDELINES.—The study shall be conducted in accordance with the criteria for the study of areas for potential inclusion in the National Park System under section 8 of Public Law 91–383 (16 U.S.C. 1a–5).
(3) CONSULTATION.—In conducting the study, the Secretary shall consult with—
(A) Modoc County;
(B) the State of California;
(C) appropriate Federal agencies;
(D) tribal and local government entities;
(E) private and nonprofit organizations; and (F) private landowners.
(4) SCOPE OF STUDY.—The study shall include an evaluation of—
(A) the significance of the site as a part of the history of World War II;
(B) the significance of the site as the site relates to other war relocation centers;.
(C) the historical resources of the site, including the stockade, that are intact and in place;
(D) the contributions made by the local agricultural community to the World War II effort; and
(E) the potential impact of designation of the site as a unit of the National Park System on private landowners. (b) REPORT.—Not later than 3 years after the date on which funds are made available to conduct the study required under this section, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate a report describing
the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the study.
SEC. 7203. ESTATE GRANGE, ST. CROIX.
(a) STUDY.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of the Interior (referred
to in this section as the ‘‘Secretary’’), in consultation with the Governor of the Virgin Islands, shall conduct a special resource study of Estate Grange and other sites and resources
