Introduction
Often I have been admonished to follow the simple adage of K.I.S.S.
Keep It Simple Stupid. Often I have failed. This will be an attempt to
follow that adage. My name is Karl Rohde I am a Vietnam Veteran who has
been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Presently I
am the director of the Putnam County Veterans Service Agency, a certified
Veterans Service Officer and an Equus Effect graduate.
Out of the Agency I write and publish ta newsletter called the Situation
Report (SITREP). I thought the readers might like to follow my
experiences at Pegasus Farm as I grapple with the Equus Effect Equine
Therapy Program. Thus “The Diary of a Horse Skeptic” was created.
Little did I think it would be so well received. If single fellow Veteran reads
this and signs up for Equus this publication has been a success.
Please enjoy this compilation of the 6 SITREPS and pass it to any who may
benefit from reading the Diary.
