Professor Maureen Samms-Vaughan, an internationally recognised expert in child development and an advocate for children, is Professor of Child Health, Child Development and Behaviour at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Consultant Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrician at the University Hospital of the West Indies and Past-Chairman of Jamaica’s Early Childhood Commission.
