Charlotte, TN Recognized for her expressive brush- work, intelligent composition, and superb use of col- or, Nashville Tennessee native, Lori Putnam paints small to medium-sized works en plein air and creates large paintings in her studio. She travels extensively to paint, teach, and share her work around the world. Prior to becoming a full-time, ne artist in 2005, Put- nam owned and managed a graphic design agency for 13 years. In 2008 and 2009, she and her husband sold all of their belongings and traveled to the Italian countryside to live for more than seven months with the sole purpose of the painter’s self-study and artis- tic growth. Fort Smith, AR Jason Sacran is an artist/painter living in Arkansas. He has been invited to many exhibitions and awarded many times with such organizations as the Oil Painters of America and the American Im- pressionists Society among others. Some of Jason’s re- cent awards include Best of Show awards in the: 2016 Maui Plein Air Invitational, 2016 Plein Air Rockies, 2015 Plein Air Easton, 2015 Olmsted Plein Air In- vitational, 2015 Easels in Frederick and 2014 Door County Plein Air. PHIL SANDUSKY
New Orleans, LA Phil Sandusky is a nationally renowned plein air impressionist landscape and cityscape painter who has had more than 30 solo exhibits in New Orleans and across the country. Though he is also an accomplished portrait and gure painter, he is best known for his cityscapes of New Orleans. He studied academic art privately from a very early age, and also, having an aptitude in math and science, graduated from Jacksonville University with a BA in Physics in 1980. In keep- ing with his dual interest in science, Sandusky has tempered his painting with an understanding of vision that goes beyond the age old dictums about optics, light, and perspective to venture into the realms explored by modern vision science.
