Milwaukee, WI Shelby Keefe is an award-winning impressionist painter, teacher and performance art- ist. Utilizing a vibrant underpainting technique of complimentary colors, her oil paintings are com- plex, but not overly-worked. As she continues to grow as a representationalist painter, she develops her ability to say more with less. With a BFA in 1981 and a career in graphic design, she became a full-time ne artist in 2005 painting, teaching and competing nationwide and working in her studio/ gallery. She was recently featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine with her rst place prize in the magazine’s 2013 Salon Competition. NANCIE KING MERTZ
Chicago, IL Chicago artist, Nancie King Mertz, is a Master Signature member of Pastel Society of Amer- ica , a Master Signature member of Chicago Pastel Painters, a Master Circle Member of the International Assoc. of Pastel Societies, and a member of Oil Paint- ers of America. She has work in corporate and private collections worldwide and has won numerous awards in oil & pastel shows. Twice named “Chicago Artist of the Year”, her work is featured on Chicago-based television shows. Nancie serves on the Plein air Con- vention Facultyand offers destination workshops.
