Invited Artists MARK FEHLMAN San Diego, CA Mark Fehlman practiced as an ar- chitect for 35 years, as the design partner for the San Diego based rm, Fehlman LaBarre. Mark started painting in 2000 and within 5 years left architecture
to start a new career as an artist. He trained under
many great artists, but the two who were most in u-
ential were Ray Roberts and John Asaro. Like both
artists, Mark is equally comfortable in gurative and
landscape subjects that feature strong composition,
well de ned value relationships and vibrant color.
He has won numerous awards in various shows, in-
cluding the “Grand Award” for the LPAPA 2014

TRACEY FRUGOLI
Chicago, IL Born in 1966 in Chicago, Tracey Frugoli has always known she would be an artist. Growing up in a creative household, she enjoyed unusually intensive art training in her suburban high school. She went on to earn a BFA in ne art, and a MA in Art Therapy. She has been painting in her current style since 1998 and engaged in portrait/fashion photography since 2011. In- spired by light and beauty, Frugoli apologetically eschews novelty and shock in favor of authenticity. She views the art making process as a humbling endeavor that seeks to re ect and, thereby, enhance the most noble of our ideals. Her painting and photography cross pollinate to keep her work fresh and vital. Frugoli’s oil paintings hang in nu- merous public and private collections. Costa Mesa, CA Debra Huse uses rich color and bold uid strokes to capture the light and drama in her oil paintings. Originally from Indiana, Huse lives in Costa Mesa, CA and has a studio in a boat- yard. She has a passion for painting coastal scenes and old shing boats.
