TOP 10 THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT LIFE ON ROLLING HILLS DRIVE

       1. The privacy and tranquil natural beauty of open space behind the pool
We back up to wooded open space with a classic New England stone wall. It is so private
and peaceful looking out from the kitchen or lounging by the pool. We will miss dearly
sitting at the kitchen table early morning with a cup of coffee and to watch
the seasons progress, from the first snow fall to the flowers peak blossom in spring. The
view from the front Palladian window is equally entrancing especially when we get one of
our gorgeous pink and blue Connecticut sunrises.
       2. Open floor plan in the main living area with 9 foot and Cathedral ceilings
The floor plan in the kitchen and family room is nice and open allowing the whole family to
gather with ample space and in enhanced by the height of the ceiling in the family room.
The Cathedral ceiling holds a beautiful 14 foot Christmas tree and lots of family memories.
       3. The pool & finished basement make this the ultimate family-friendly spot!
We were the year round gathering spot for each of our kids friends. There were too many
parties and sleepovers to count! The pool and finished basement has been the source of
some of our fondest memories of the kids childhoods. The basement has an entertainment
area, wet bar, full bathroom, extra study/bonus room, exercise room and storage. We will all
       truly miss this space.
       4. A real neighborhood
It was so comforting to be on a safe street where the kids can be out riding bikes or meeting
the bus. There is very little traffic and overall we felt very safe. It felt a private community
where we all know each other.
       5. Nice large office on first floor
The transition to work from over the last few months was made much easier with the first
floor office. It has French doors facing the backyard so we can get a short break with some
fresh air and always felt separate but close enough to keep in touch with the family.
       6. Easy access to the Merritt Parkway and train
The easy access to the Merritt Parkway and access to two Fairfield train stations has always
been key for us. Having commuted to NYC and Stamford for over 20 years and we've loved
being able to come home, unwind and and relax here.
       7. Lots of outdoor actvitiy options so close by
We love to hike, walk, and bike on the trails and back roads out here. We also enjoy snow
shoeing in the open space behind us. We were the go-to spot for sledding on snow days as
the kids loved our front lawn.
       8. Public golf course around the corner
It's a perfect spot all year round, whether golfing or sledding or cross country skiing. The
the newly renovated the club house we can't wait to see how it's the club has evolved
       9. Groumet kitchen and huge pantry
We love to cook and even more so since recently renovating the fabulous new kitchen.
Whether it's for regular weekday or holiday meals for the family there is always plenty of
space for family, friends and parties. To help inspire us we like to frequent the nearby farms
for fresh eggs, produce and CSA baskets.
       10. Beaches and Lake Mohegan
We will miss the ease of going Fairfield beaches and would go for everything from a full
day, picnic dinner at sunset, or summer book club meetings. Lake Mohegan was also great
when the kids were little with it's fresh water, water pad, and dog walking paths.
