GET TO KNOW THE NEIGHBORHOOD

“We purchased our home on Lampwick Lane in 2004 when our daughter was a newborn

and our son a toddler. We raised our family in this neighbor - they are now a Junior and a

Senior in HS - and could not have been happier. There is a real sense of community in this

neighborhood. There is an email chain that includes over 50 families to share information

and happenings, there's an annual chili cookoff, pizza parties and occasional adult only

cocktail parties and family get-togethers. We have made many friends in this neighbor-

hood as have our kids. In the last few years we have seen some turnover with families with

young kids coming in. There's always a crowd at the bus stops !”

“The public schools are also excellent - Burr, Tomlinson Middle and Warde HS. My son

has a few learning challenges and they have been addressed completely to our - and his -

satisfaction. The town also has excellent sports programs. Our daughter is on the ski team

and our son is varsity captain for the boys soccer team and hopes to play in college next

year. I can't think of a better place to have raised our family. We hope you will enjoy it as

much as we have.”

“ I love this neighborhood for so many reasons. It is beautiful in every season! Fall foliage

is gorgeous, there are hills for sledding in the winter, all the beautiful flowering shrubs

in the spring and all the vegetable gardens in the summer. The houses are spaced out

enough to give you privacy but close enough to feel like a neighborhood. There are kids

of all ages in the neighborhood and there is plenty of room for them to bike and play. We

also have awesome neighbors who look out for each other- we even have a neighborhood

email list to share important and barbeque invites. We are not far from stores and super-

markets so it is a convenient location as well. It is truly a beautiful peaceful place to live! “
