1. An architects own home is a bit like living in an art gallery. There is beauty and a
wonderful sense of living in history. It’s warm and inviting. We’ve enjoyed seeing the
moonlight and the phases of the moon, we’ve found it enriching to live in our home..
2. We love living in a historical home that has character and charm, inside and out, and has
all modern conveniences, and upgrades of a new home, and is fully automated!
3. The warmth/coziness I feel when I get home from a day at work, making my way into the
kitchen and seeing my husband preparing dinner with the fireplace going.
4. Having a private first floor guest suite, complete with a bathroom, study and sitting room with
fireplace. Our overnight guests just love it! Also, perfect for an au-pair suite!
5. The Master bedroom, Bathroom and Kitchen gas fireplaces, and Living room wood Fireplace
make our home feel like a vacation every winter day!
6. The master bedroom suite is my staycation! My vacation at home.
7. Looking out at the expansive green lawn in front and behind our home. We often stand
by the fireplace in the kitchen and look out at the beautiful front lawn. Upstairs in the master
bedroom, we sit and read on a chair by the window and admire the peacefulness of the
backyard. Especially in fall with the colors painting a canvas.
8. The fantastic stonework along the perimeter of home and street. It adds another level
of beauty. Also, the beautiful trees in front of the house and a special one that makes for a
perfect Christmas tree in the window off the living room.
9. The warm garage and radiant floors in winter.
10. Walking the dog ‘Dock’ across the street on Pine Tree Drive. It’s a dog friendly neighborhood
so it’s a walk Dock looks forward to every day!
11. Easy access to both the Merritt and 95, downtown Westport.
