TOP TEN THINGS WE WILL MISS ABOUT LIFE AT 220 BURR STREET
1. The location is excellent! We are just minutes to town, the train station and to
shopping on Black Rock Turnpike.
2. The oversized covered bluestone terrace is a wonderful place to entertain, have family
dinner, or relax. It would be easy to screen it in but we have enjoyed it just as it is.
3. The level backyard is a great location for a pool and gardens...no wetlands!
4. The large renovated kitchen is a dream! There’s lots of counter space for meal
preparation and everyone loves gathering around the center island for breakfast and
afternoon snacks..
5. The master suite is a spacious serene and sunny retreat with a very large walk in closet,
wonderful ensuite master bath with shower stall and tub as well as a double sink
vanity. There’s also an unfinished space for storage or it can be finished to make an
office or nursery.
6. We have loved the split level lifestyle this home offers. Our children may have been on
a different level but in reality they were just five steps away, not a full level away. As
they grew into teenagers they appreciated the separation.
7. The third level ensuite bedroom is a wonderful guest, au pair suite, or teen bedroom.
8. Our open floor plan makes this a great home for entertaining. The kitchen is open to
the dining and living area as well as the family room.
9. The family room can be closed off to the other main floor rooms offering privacy for a
work or study space.
10. As a busy family we have loved having a mudroom that can be closed off from the
main entrance but is also adjacent to the garage entrance.
