P. 119
And every man that hath this hope In Him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of
the law. And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and In Him is
no sin. Whosoever abideth In Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen
him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth

righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of
the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:3 ̶ 8)
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For
there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is
rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the

Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him In Whom they have not

believed? and how shall they believe In Him of whom they have not heard? and
how shall they hear without a preacher? (Romans 10:11 ̶ 14)

through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took
not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17
Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He
might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
reconciliation for the sins of the people. (Hebrews 2:13 ̶ 17)
But whoso keepeth his word, In Him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby
know we that we are In Him. He that saith he abideth In Him ought himself also
so to walk, even as he walked. Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you,
but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old
commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Again, a new
commandment I write unto you, which thing is true In Him and in you: because
the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. (I John 2:5 ̶ 8)
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without
honor, save in his own country, and in his own house. And he did not many mighty
