Father.
The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus said, I lay down my life, that I
might take it again. No man (no soldier) taketh it from me, but I lay it down of
myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. In other words
the Roman soldiers did not crucify the Lord Jesus, in that the Lord said, no man
taketh my life from me, because the Lord had the God given power to lay down His
life, because that was one of the main reasons He came, to die on the cross for the sin
of mankind. The Lord Jesus chose to lay down His God given life by being crucified
and He actually allowed it to happen.
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for
blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus
answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If He called them
gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.
The Holy Spirit’s revelation of what the Lord Jesus said, I said, ye are gods.
For it is written in Psalm 82:6; I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of
the most High. Say ye of Him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the
world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
For it is also written in Genesis 1:26; And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth. For God said, Let us make man in our image, or as
Sons of God; for this was God’s plan that each member of the Body of Christ to
actually become Sons of Almighty God.
Chapter 11
Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her
2
sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped
his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) Therefore his sisters sent
3
unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard
4
that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son
of God might be glorified thereby. Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and
5
Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in
6
the same place where he was. Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go

into Judæa again. His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to
stone thee; and goest thou thither again? Jesus answered, Are there not twelve
9
hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth
the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because

there is no light in him. These things said he: and after that he saith unto them,

Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then
said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his
