Nathanael, and saith unto him, ‘We have found Him, of whom Moses in the law,
and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’ 46 And
Nathanael said unto him, ‘Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?’ Philip
saith unto him, ‘Come and see.’ 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith
of him, ‘Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!’ 48 Nathanael saith unto
him, ‘Whence knowest thou me?’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Before that
Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.’ 49 Nathanael
answered and saith unto him, ‘Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of
Israel.’ 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Because I said unto thee, I saw thee
under the fig tree, believest thou? Thou shalt see greater things than these.’ 51 And
He saith unto him, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven
open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.’”

(Revelation Comments of Chapter 1)
It should be noted that the Lord Jesus during His Life and Ministry (Fulfilled) the
opening statements in John 1:1 ̶ 51. For it is written in John 1:33 – 36, “…Upon
whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, the same is He
which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son
of God. Again the next day after John stood, and two of His disciples; And looking
upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, ‘Behold the Lamb of God!’” For it is written in
John 1:49 – 50, “Nathanael answered and saith unto Him, ‘Rabbi, thou art the Son of
God; thou art the King of Israel.’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Because I said
unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? Thou shalt see greater things
than these.’” The following scriptures confirm the statements in John 1:1 ̶ 51 as
follows:
For it is written in Ephesians 3:9,17 – 19, “And to make all men see what is the
fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in
God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. (See John 1:3) That Christ may dwell in
your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in Love, May be able to
comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height,
and to know the Love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled
with all the fullness of God.”
For it is written in Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, (Jesus) and shall call His name
Immanuel. (The definition of the Hebrew Word Immanuel is God with us.)”
(See John 1:34)
For it is written in Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and
the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful,
Counselor, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (The child
