Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith
unto him, ‘Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me,
Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then,
Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in
me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that
dwelleth in me, He doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the
Father in me, or else believe me for the very works' sake. (John 14:8 – 11)
The Lord Jesus said, the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the
Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works. The Lord Jesus said, the words that
I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwelleth in me.
Therefore, all the words that the Lord Jesus spoke were God the Father's words. So
be it!!!
It should be noted that every born-again believer, should build the foundation of
their Real Faith, and the foundation of their Real Belief:
1.− On the Spiritual Truth of who God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit really are in the Word of God.
2.− On the Spiritual Truth about the resurrection from the dead of the Lord Jesus
Christ on the third day after His crucifixion on Calvary.
3. − On the Spiritual Truth about who the born-again believer really is In Christ, In
Him and In Whom all the days of their spiritual life on this earth. A scripture
example of this in the book of Acts is, “That they should seek the Lord, if haply
they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us;
For In Him we live, and move, and have our being. (Acts 17:27 – 28)
“Therefore if any man be In Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become new.” (II Corinthians 5:17)
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the
kingdom of his dear Son, In Whom we have redemption through his blood, even
the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13 – 14)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with
all spiritual blessings in heavenly places In Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
“For In Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision,
but a new creature.” (Galatians 6:15)
