and 66. Of course were not saying that the actual (260) chapters of the New
Testament are located in the (6) chapters of the Book of Isaiah, but we are saying just
a mini version of the New Testament.
However, we do find the same mission statement in the book of Isaiah:
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison
to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the
day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn, to appoint unto them
that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be
called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be
glorified. (Isaiah 61:1 – 3)
In the Book of Luke 4:21, “And Lord began to say unto them, ‘this day is this
scripture fulfilled in your ears.’” What did the Lord Jesus really mean when He
said, “This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears?” When He made that
statement that day in the synagogue of Nazareth, He fulfilled the same scripture
that was written in Isaiah 61:1 – 3. And as God the Son manifested in the flesh He
would personally fulfill every word in Isaiah 61:1 – 3 and every word in Luke 4:18
– 21 beginning from that day forward.
However, according to the word of God everything that the Lord Jesus stated in
Luke 4:18 – 21 and Isaiah 61:1 – 3 was in fact already finished and Fulfilled as
stated:
Remember this, and shew yourselves men; bring it again to mind, O ye
transgressors. Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is
none else; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the
beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My
counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure,’ Calling a ravenous bird from
the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country. Yea, I have
spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.
(Isaiah 46:8 – 11)
God the Father, the Imperial King of the whole universe meant what He said, and
said what He meant. What did Almighty God mean when He Said, “Declaring the
end from the beginning?” The Imperial King was actually saying, that He
Completes everything before He Commences, He Finishes everything before He
Starts, and He creates the End before He Begins. That simply means that everything
