Mr. Ray and Ms. Sunee work for Samsung. Which activities happen at different

times in Sydney and Bangkok?

Sunee: You’re from Sydney. Are the daily schedules different in Sydney and Bangkok?

Ray: Yes, they are.

Sunee: What time do people typically start work?

Ray: Well, it depends on the job. I work in an office. I start work at nine.

Sunee: That’s different from Thailand. We start work at 8.30. Do you have lunch at noon?

Ray: No, we don’t. We have lunch from 1.00-2.30 p.m.

Sunee: That’s different. Most people here have one hour for lunch. It’s usually from 12:00-1:00.

What time do you finish work?

Ray: At 5:00 or 5:30 p.m.

Sunee: It’s too late. We finish work at 4.30 or 5.00 p.m.

Ray: When do you have dinner?

Sunee: I usually have dinner about 6.00 p.m. and you?

Ray: I always have it about 7.00 p.m.

Sunee: That’s too late.
