1. We would like to hear about you as an individual - how you identify, and maybe a little about your political leanings.
Hello my name is Rachel Aguirre and I Identify as female (using she/her/hers pronouns). 2. Tell us about Cuatl. How you all met, and why you formed.
Cu@tl band was formed I would say almost two years ago. We all met through a friend named Angel who wanted to start a new band project and invited us to be part of it. After a few practices Angel de- cided he was not feeling the project and decided to step out of it. Zac, Nick and I talked and decided to continue and after practicing for a while and looking for a sound we formed Cu@tl. We have had a couple of line up changes since we started but are currently a 3 piece project.
3. What releases have you had?
We are currently working on our first EP “finally” which we hope to release this fall. 4. What is next for the band?
After we release “finally”, we’re going to focus on getting together a full album, put our music on band camp, get together some merch and play plenty of shows for sure. Our goal is tour someday, and to keep on creating.
