While it is amazing to see so many people out standing up for Black
lives right now, that also means we need to be
clear in not centering whiteness. The violence many white people are experiencing from policing right now- for many for the first time ever- is not a new experience for Black and Indigenous people
of color who are impacted by state violence every day.
