                                                                                           chapel of the most sumptuous ever made, that
                                                                                           of the Blessed Sacrament.

                                                                                           The representation of the Last Supper seems
                                                                                           even stronger than the famous fresco by

                                                                                           Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. Firstly, we have

                                                                                           a picture in which John undoubtedly is a
                                                                                           woman, it is enough to observe these images

                                                                                           to remove any form of doubt: the face is
                                                                                           feminine, the features are sweet and frame a

                                                                                           woman, even particularly beautiful. And so
                                                                                           far, there is no doubt.

                                                                                           But here we are in front of something more.

                                                                                           The Last Supper is located inside the chapel
                                                                                           of the Blessed Sacrament in which all the

                                                                                           salient moments of Mary Magdalene's life are
                                                                                           represented, including the Last Supper. The

                                                                                           other incredible fact is that, as if they were
                                                                                           cartoons of a comic, the woman is always the

                                                                                           same. The scenes of the chapel are: The Noli

                                                                                           me Tangere, the adulteress, the washing of the




















            The chapel of the body of Christ in the
       Cathedral of Cremona would retrace the story

       of Mary Magdalene to take the same
       dedication: the figure of the woman

       constitutes the Fil rouge that binds works also
       temporally distant between them as the two

       canvases of Giulio Campi depicting "The

       Magdalene at the feet of Jesus" of 1569 and
       "The Last Supper" of the previous year and

       "The Apparition of Christ to the Magdalene"
       by Giovanni Angelo Borroni of 1750. But

       there is more: the same John of the Last
       Supper, with his feminine likeness, asleep on                                       feet, the Last Supper. In all these four

       the arm of Christ, it would be still her, the                                       paintings the protagonist is only one: Mary

       Magdalene, the true "cup" of the Blood of                                           Magdalene. She is washing the feet, it is the
       Christ, as bride and mother of her children. A                                      same in the adulteress, the same in the " Do
