Middle Ages was a Cathar place, they even wanted to burn
the whole city to eliminate heresy. Still today in Faenza there
is a Commandery (a civil honour, superior to a knighthood)
dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene. Also, in Faenza, a
tombstone would have been decoded from the 1600, coming
from the Cathedral of the city (the discovery of a sketch on
a notebook, would trace its construction back to Leonardo. I
remind you that Leonardo wrote from left to right that is on
the reverse as to the way that they write Arabic).
The plaque seems to conceal a secret message, referring to
Rennes: "On Mount Bezu in Rennes, the Church of Christ
hides the arch in the Mountains", writing which is also found
in the Pala Bertone, painted by an unknown author, owned by
the Pinacoteca Faentina. In Faenza, we also find Felice Giani,
who painted three works here with the words: "Et in Arcadia
Ego" (also I was part of the Arcadia) an enigmatic inscription
reported in some important seventeenth century paintings,
including one of Guercino, and two of the French painter
Nicolas Poussin. There is then the diffusion of devotion to
the most precious blood, a congregation founded by St.
Gaspar, which is found both in Bologna and in Romagna, and in
the Rennes area. Another reference is the oratory of S.
Maria Maddalena at Villa Salta, located in Predappio, which
would have symbolic references to the church located in
Rennes. The construction of the oratory, around 1450, is due
to Nicolò, founder of the Raineri of Salto, an illustrious
character, very sensitive to the spiritual and religious side.
Another reference to The Magdalene can be found in St.
Camillus, founder of the "Company of Ministers of the Sick".
The Camillians wear the black robe with the Red Cross of
cloth on their chests, dedicating themselves to the care of
