2. The working end continues around the line and back up
toward the first half hitch. sometimes you may want to throw in
a third or fourth half hitch for greater security.
3. The two half hitches, a.k.a. a clove hitch, are then tightened
against the object by pulling on the working end and standing
part.
4. Beware of accidentally tying a girth hitch! This is far less
secure and should be avoided.
