The gallery’s first international exhibitions were in Cannes 1989 and Galerie Racines, Belgium 1991. The most recent have been Galerie Susi-Brunner, Zürich, 2009 and Galerie Zürichsee, Bäch, Switzerland, 2013. It has also exhibited at the popular Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for several years and, in 2014, was invited to open a gallery at the Sprayview Hotel, the second-oldest hotel in Victoria Falls.
These galleries organized many regional and overseas exhibitions which reignited what had started and Zimbabwe Stone Sculpture was once again hailed throughout the world. Many articles and books have been written about the sculpture (see Bibliography) and art critics and art lovers all over the world recognize the sculptors of the ‘First’ and ‘Second Generation’. Their work has been collected and bought by royalty, film stars, politicians and investors, including the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds; Charles, Prince of Wales; actors Morgan Freeman, Danny Glover and Janet Suzman; singer Janet Jackson; and author Wilbur Smith. The British Museum has a small but significant collection of Zimbabwe Stone Sculpture, bequeathed to it by Frank McEwen, as well as pieces on loan from Queen Elizabeth II.
