one day the iconic images and incredible
wild tales of the Okavango Delta’s
majestic lions, beautiful leopards,
trumpeting elephants, stomping
herds of buffalo, birds and intricate
waterways, and indigenous peoples
will be told by indigenous storytellers.
This is a key part of the vision of
NGOWP project leader Dr Steve Boyes’
‘community led system of protection’,
that he hopes to achieve through the
entire Okavango River basin, from the
source in the Angolan Highlands Water
Tower through Namibia and Botswana.
