Goo Moremi Gorge is a community based cultural and heritage tourism product managed by the Moremi-Manonnye Conservation Trust (MMCT) in partnership with Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO); Goo Moremi Gorge sits on an expansive 1836 hectare conservation zone at the foot of the Tswapong Hills, about 342 km from the capital city Gaborone and 67km east of Palapye.
The Official National heritage site is where perennial streams have cut deep gorges into the hills, with waterfalls cascading into deep pools surrounded by lush vegetation. The gorges are home to many wild animals, exclusive birdlife. It is shrouded in mystery with many amazing myths and legends. The facility has 8 luxury Meru-tents with en-suite bathroom and shower, 6 self-catering Chalets and 5 camp sites with individual ablution, wash-up area and braai facility. It also has a 50 seater restaurant, activities include Nature walks as well as Gorge hiking.
