  INTERVIEW
DB: How much importance do you attach to water management?
Here in Botswana, water is scarce, so its management is absolutely pivotal to life in our country. This includes everything from optimum maintenance of our natural water sources, (including the beautiful Okavango Delta), to water for domestic consumption. Provision of clean drinking water, especially in remote areas, is a huge challenge.
Systems such as hydro panels that produce water through air and sunlight are needed, as they would also eliminate the need for plastic bottles, which as we all know are a worldwide problem.
DB: What other projects and people might you connect with in terms of advancing your ambitions?
I am very keen on the Okavango Wilderness Project. I’d love to join one of their mokoro expeditions, and thus inspire other women to become involved in programmes working to save our ecosystem.
DB: Would you like to see more women become prominent in conservation here in Botswana?
The empowerment of women in general is crucial to our society. I firmly believe that enhanced education for men and women in conservation, wildlife, agriculture and tourism will go a long way to promoting this.
DB: Finally, what is your ultimate personal goal?
My priority is to learn all I can through work, study and experience, and then educate those following me. I am certain that positive change can protect our environment, and this
can best be achieved through dedicated education.
DB: Thank you so much Seneo, we wish you great success in your pursuits, and look forward to seeing the resulting benefits to our beautiful country.
