BREWING CONSERVATION
Established in 2019, the Okavango Craft Brewery produces award-winning craft beer from the finest quality ingredients, including locally sourced millet and mineral water from the Okavango Delta. In order to drive new and innovative ways to diversify Botswana's wildlife economy and promote coexistence between people and elephants, we pay a premium for millet grown by small-scale farmers who practice certified “Elephant Aware” farming.
We malt this millet and brew a variety of uniquely blended adjunct beers on location in Maun, where we serve them up with delicious food at our spectacular brewpub and beer garden. For those wanting to learn more and experience the full impact of our brewing, we also conduct brewery tours and beer tasting events. Join us on our journey to brew conservation in Botswana, while enjoying awesome craft beer.
