Featuring various traits and characteristics, the Cultural Village
Foundation – Katara aims at creating ideal environment which
takes the enhancement of the cultural and artistic movement
in the Qatari society as its point of departure. It is part of the
greater renaissance witnessed in every sector of the Qatari life.
As such, Katara has endeavors to be the focal point of world
cultures, the lighthouse of innovation and a global center for
Qatari arts, heritage and traditions.
Katara could make numerous achievements both locally and
globally, receiving the ISO 27001 certification. This has made
Katara the most prominent cultural foundation not only in
Qatar, but regionally and worldwide as well. The reason
behind this lies in its eorts to achieve excellence through the
permanent development of whatever services it provides. Such
services, in essence, comply with all systems and technical
specifications, particularly those related to database integrity,
information technology, intellectual property and privacy
protection. This guarantees the highest levels of e
cacy,

ciency and transparency. Katara has implemented ISO
27001 as an international standard for information security
management, which provides a framework that ensures
commercial, contractual and legal responsibilities. Moreover,
the German institute TUV HESSN has granted the Katara
Purchase Department the ISO 9001:2008 certification for Quality
Management System. This certification sets the international
specifications that regulate industrial and service premises
management systems, defining the minimum limitations and
the necessary requirements that guarantee the continuous
control of the product and service quality in order to meet the
customers› expectations.
It is worthy to note that MS Certification, an internationally-
recognized company in the application of global administrative
and financial quality standards, has awarded the Cultural Village
Foundation- Katara the ISO 9001: 2008 certification for Cultural
Aairs management. Besides, TUS HESSN has previously
awarded Katara the ISO 9001:2008 certification for Quality
Management Systems.
The website of the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara has
also received the Arab Websites award from the Pan Arab Web
Awards Academy.
We, in Katara, strive to train Qatari human resources on
international standards and achieving Qatar Vision 2030. This
has been the driving force behind our deep belief in quality
as a behavior and culture, rather than a mere slogan. We
exert all eorts to attain this high position of excellence and
