keeping my lower back firm on the mat. After about 15 minutes I got up and the pain was gone. I went back to hit more balls and all was well.
As far as the swing goes, I feel like I'm on the right track but I think it's going to take at least a month and a lot of balls to get it feeling normal. No problem, I am nothing if not stubborn.
I'm now back home, having listened to Richard Russo's "Straight Man" while I was driving. He is really good at developing misfit male characters and much wiser female characters into stories. What a fine writer. And I bet he's never used a meaningless phrase like that last one as a sentence. I'll have to show him how to do that.
I'm in my chair, feet on the bed, typing away and slowly my eyes are drifting shut. It could very well be nap time, and I hope I don't get any entertainment nightmares.
Okay, I don't fall asleep. I watch YouTube videos, lots of them from Ellen Degeneres who has done amazing things for gay pride. I haven't done anything for gay pride. I'm one of those guys who says, "I've got a lot of gay friends," hoping to impress people with how nice I am. Hey, I was in show business. You can't be in show business without having gay friends. But I digress. Let's digress further and talk about pets.
