Thank You!
On behalf of the Litchfield Park Preschool, “thank you” for supporting our annual Parent
Appreciation Art Walk. Our children entertained us and kicked off our holiday season with
an enjoyable evening full of art and music.
Thank you for participating in our two “Sharing is Caring” holiday drives. We sponsored a
successful Agua Fria Food Bank Holiday Basket Drive and helped families in need. The
ongoing JOY to SOCKS Drive, benefitting the Phoenix Rescue Mission, will conclude on
Friday, January 11, 2019.
Happy New Year!
Welcome 2019! A fresh year to explore opportunities to pursue and enjoy new and
exciting learning experiences.
Reminders
School supplies due on Monday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 8.
School supplies are due for both the ABC AM and Adventures in Learning classes.
Please check your parent handbook for a list of needed supplies.
Tuition is due on Tuesday, January 15.
Please make sure to remit your child’s tuition payment by Tuesday, January 15 to
avoid the $15 late fee. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm
and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.
Please remember to check your child's class snack calendar.
The snack calendar can be viewed on the parent board located outside the
preschool door or on Litchfield Park Preschool’s Facebook page.
Odds & Ends
Watch for the “Parent Praise” stationery.
Crayon stationery will be sent home for you to write words of praise or
encouragement to your child. The note will be displayed on our “Parent Praise”
board. Ms. Seye will read the student praise notes to the class. Please place your
child’s praise note in the homework box located on the sign in/out table.
Pajama Day is coming!
Please have your child wear their pajamas to school on Wednesday, January 30 and
Thursday, January 31, for our Pajama Day. We’ll be hosting a nice and toasty
pajama party. We’d like everyone to bring in a snuggly stuffed animal and wear their
favorite winter pajamas.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Breakfast provides our children with the energy and nutrients that lead to
increased concentration in the classroom. It also provides energy for activities
during the morning and helps to prevent mid-morning slumps.
The cold and flu season is upon us.
We’d like to remind parents to keep your child at home if they are ill.
Please continue working with your child at home.
Classroom learning reinforced by parent involvement builds a strong team to enrich
your preschooler’s early childhood education.
