Halt deine Lederhosen Fest!
Saturday, October 5, 2019, 6-9 p.m.
Hold onto your lederhosen! Oktoberfest is drawing near and it is sure to be a memorable one! The
City of Litchfield Park and The Wigwam are partnering to host a fun-filled cultural event for the
community. Litchfield Park’s Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 6 to
9 p.m. on the front lawn of The Wigwam.
German inspired entrees will be prepared by The Wigwam’s chefs and, of course, German and
domestic beers as well as wine will be served at the festival. Come dance and sing along as Nickelcity
Express plays a variety of music, including Oktoberfest favorites. Wear your best German outfits
for chances to win prizes for both adults and kids. There will be a children’s area and plenty of
entertainment for the entire family, including lawn games and a polka competition!
Festival admission is $15 per person and includes a souvenir stein for all advance ticketholders
and while supplies last at the gate. Children under 12 are admitted free. Tickets will be available
beginning Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center or online at
eventbrite.com. Proceeds from sales of admission tickets benefit the Litchfield Park Recreation
Department. Admission prices do not include food and beverages.
